Transportation to Gdynia

Geographical Location

Thanks to its geographical location and developed transport infrastructure, Gdynia is easily accessible by air, sea, rail, and road.

By Air

The most environmentally friendly way to get to Gdynia is by air. Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport is located about 25 km from Gdynia (about 25 minutes by car). The airport offers regular connections to major international hubs.

By Road

Gdynia and its port are well-connected with national and international road networks. You can reach Gdynia via the E28 from the west (about 6 hours from Berlin) or via the A1 motorway (E75) and E77 from the south (Łódź or Warsaw).

By Sea

Stena Line offers regular ferry connections from Gdynia to Karlskrona (Sweden). Ferries from Gdańsk sail to Nynäshamn, Helsinki, and Riga.

By Rail

Poland’s railway system is well-developed and serviced by several operators. Gdynia’s main train station offers connections throughout the country and beyond. SKM and PKM trains provide fast and reliable transport across the Tri-City area, running 24/7. The nearest stop – Gdynia Główna – is just 15 minutes walking distance from the regatta village.

    Equipment Transport

The main container ports are in Gdynia and Gdańsk. Estimated delivery time ranges from 15 to 45 days depending on the shipping line and route.
