Entering Poland by foreigners allowed for international championships!

According to a recent amendment to border crossing regulation by Poland's Minister of the Interior and Administration, entering Poland is allowed for foreigners traveling for international sports competitions of the championship rank.
It is not necessary to apply for the consent of the border guards for the entry of competitors to the territory of Poland. A valid travel document and a valid residence permit (e.g. visa) together with an official invitation issued by the organizer of the regatta is sufficient. This applies to competitors, members of the training staff, doctors, physiotherapists,a or referees.

For an official invitation to sailing championships in Poland please email your details to: a.kuder@pya.org.pl.
Information for the invitation :
• name and address of the sailing federation you are representing;
• names, surnames and roles of all the people (sailors, coaches, supporters) coming to Poland;
• all of your birthdates;
• numbers of your passports;
• arrival and departure dates and the means of transportation.

We hope that this fact will encourage competitors from abroad to register for the international regatta held as part of the Volvo Gdynia Sailing Days festival and Laser European Championships planned for October in Gdańsk.

We would like to remind you that registration can be done at the address: https://events.pya.org.pl

section 16 was added, which reads:
